Not really he is a mistake waiting to happen. I agree with Assou-Ekotto he has been very impressive this season

Title-chasing Manchester City had four of their key players named in the Professional Footballers' Association Premier League Team of the Year.

England goalkeeper Joe Hart was selected between the posts while there were also places for defender Vincent Kompany and midfielders Yaya Toure and David Silva.

Tottenham had three players included, with England internationals Kyle Walker and Scott Parker joined by last year's PFA Player of the Year Gareth Bale.

Wayne Rooney was the only representative from champions Manchester United with the league's top goalscorer, Arsenal's Robin van Persie, joining him in attack.

Champions League-chasing Newcastle have been the surprise package of the season and were represented in the XI by Argentina defender Fabricio Coloccini.

Everton full-back Leighton Baines was rewarded for another impressive season by being handed a place, meaning there were no representatives from Champions League semi-finalists Chelsea.

Premier League team of the year: Joe Hart (Man City), Kyle Walker (Tottenham), Vincent Kompany (Man City), Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle), Leighton Baines (Everton), David Silva (Man City), Yaya Toure (Man City), Gareth Bale (Tottenham), Scotty "top, top, top man" Parker (Tottenham), Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Wayne Rooney (Man Utd).

Hard to argue with that really.

Not sure about Walker as young player - think he's been over-hyped somewhat, but I can't remember who else was on the list to be honest.

Can't believe that Skrtel didn't make team of the year.

                    Walker LOL

Aguero's scored 30 goals in his first season over here and still can't win FFS. What a joke the PFA and these awards are.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                      Mental isn't it

Walker has only been marginally better than Enrique for me, and as I think Chris mentioned Assou Ekottou has been Spurs best fullback this season.

Am I the only one that thinks PFA Young Players list should be separate to PFA Players list. Aguero on both is pointless. There was a year a while back when Rooney won both or something didnt he?

I don't know why I care, its just always bugged me.
                            *Except Michael, who died.

The way I see it, if there is a young player on the player of the season awards surely he should automatically win the young player award? Either that or Kyle Walker should have been in the player of the season shortlist??

Complete fix for me with Walker winning it, betting suspended early last week I think as when he was an outsider loads of big punts were put on him.

How on earth Aguero with 29 goals this season didn't win it is baffling
