I have a lot of time for Bayern. They are a proper club. You should read some of the stories of how they helped some of their former stars who were into alcoholism and other troubles. They really take care of their own. They make sure that their former legends are integrated into the coaching and management setup. Great academy, good marketing, and they are a club with a lot of arrogance and self belief.

They at least have the balls and the confidence to attack and score goals against Man United and Mourinho's team. They dont get easily cowed down by the "aura" Of Ferguson, Mourinho, City's new wealth like the standard tabloid PL writer wants them to. I am sure they have dashed the dreams of most of the london based media as they must have had the Mourinho vs Mourinho CL write up written up already. A proper European institution.
