I think you've missed the point. Which is that there is a culture within football in which accepts this as absolutely normal behaviour. Money and celebrity plays more than a part. That is a big reason behind it. These people live in a bit bubble with a massive sense of entitlement. .

Sure, you might get white collar office workers acting like this, and you will certainly find footballers who prefer to lead socially acceptable and conventional lives.

But that is not the point.

But if that's true, how come we don't see loads of cases like the Evans one ?

Hmm, maybe, possible i suppose, different eras tbf, and considering the amount of girls that you would expect to have been through such a thing if it's normal behaviour for footballers, i would have expected to hear about more cases.

Could well be wrong though.

I'd rather believe it's a few bad eggs that end up tarring the rest with the same brush.
