I am not sure about Mourinho building a dynasty though. Great manager and the best in the business when backed by money.
However, I don't see him as a let us develop youngsters and nurture talent sort of manager. He normally works with the finished article and does a brilliant job of it. Of course, I am not fully aware of how he developed his squad at Porto though.
I also think his style is too abrasive to stay at a club for a long time. He generates a brilliant team spirit, us against them mentality, but most of it is rooted in the world is out to get us paranoia. I don't think he can last more than 4 to 5 years at any club.
He said it in a documentary years ago when he was Chelsea manager. His aims are:
- Win the title in the three major European leagues (pretty much done).
- Build a dynasty at a major club to last for years.
- Manage the Portugal National Team.
- Manage Vitória de Setúbal, his hometown club during his twilight years.
