Agree with you both.

Diamanti certainly wasn't a West Ham reject either. I watch a lot of WHU and he was one of their better players that season but for some reason wasn't played much, I think he had a couple of injuries.

I certainly wouldn't chalk him down as a reject though.

Totally agree.

England were absolute ****e. Any ****ing idiot can see that Pirlo pulls the strings for this Italy side. So what does Hodgson do to deal with him? Precisely **** all.

Weird though. Despite the awful tactics, the players should still be able to control and pass a football. Most of them looked like shadows of the players who perform for their clubs in the premiership. English players are most definitely over rated.

Under hodgson, we won't qualify for the world cup

in fact, I'll predict that about half way through the qualifying campaign England will be 50/50 to not qualify, hodgson will be sacked and a new manager will come in and give the squad enough of a lift to scrape through

i heard a bit of his interview today - kicking off about how stats don't show anything and how he is not interested in possessions stats or passing stats because most of the time it just means that a team is passing the ball around the back...

he said he is more concerned with any stats that show how many times the opposition got in behind you or had possession in dangerous areas and how many chances are created.....

er ok then roy - lets forget about the England 37% vs 63% Italy possession stats......

how about you give some explanation on this one.....

Shocking level of support and understanding from the media............Trapattoni has been getting massive bollocking this summer, and continues to get it for following a dinosaur-level approach to football and that was with a really **** squad.
Have no idea how some folk out there think Hodgson will ever do anything of note with England.
