lets hope wellbecks yellow card gets rescinded to prevent woy wanting to drag in sturridge. it would be good to see jack wheelchair getting more responsibility so steve can sit back a bit.

The Football Association turned down the chance to interview current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola, 42, for the England manager's job before appointing Roy Hodgson, 66.

And they wonder why the England team doesn't do well, when there are people running the game who think Hodgson is better manager than Guardiola I think we have an answer.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Was Guardiola ever a serious candidate?
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

It's like asking Guardiola if he'd be interested in managing Burnley. Don't think he would.
                      Are we winning?

                        Or cleaning out the bins.

I'd have been more concerned if we believed we'd be in with a chance.

There must have been about 0% chance of Guardiola moving into international football and even less of him managing England. They must have known that.

Yeah undoubtedly he would have turned it down, but look at the contrasting styles, the two are worlds apart, if Hodgson's is the brand of 'football' they wanted it's no wonder the national team is in such a state.

Even if he had been a serious candidate it would have been a waste of time and money having him manage the English national team.
