i know the result and qualification was all that mattered in the end but did you see the after game analysis were they showed how the defence just fell back and failed to step up to the attacking poles when they broke out and counter attacked. laughable. they will be spit roasted by a decent team. i can really see they conceding six or more on their way to getting booted out.

Doubt it tbh. They will struggle against the decent sides but can't see them losing that heavily.

Credit where credit is due, the guy has dignity, and he has qualified England for the World Cup and we looked quite good attacking, even if it was only against Poland and Montenegro. I have a feeling that he threw caution to the wind and went for it. If he qualifies then great, if he doesnt ,well at least we tried playing attacking football

He seems to be willing to rake chances against the smaller nations but would we play wih so much attacking flair in the World Cup? My feeling is that he will defer to his usual mantra of utmost caution.

The guy was the wrong fit for Liverpool, and I often feel uneasy about the amount of stick he gets on here, but fair play Roy.!
