Thats the most accurate summary of Roys managerial style yet.

Echo with a "We told you so article" published within an hour or so of the England loss.
Judging by how fast the article was published and the facts which were presented in them, it looks like they had this article ready for publication months ago and just waited for the right time to publish it.

He did better as Switzerland manager than with EnglandThe Swiss easily qualified for Euro 1996, again losing only one game during qualification. Finishing top of Group 3, the Swiss began well. They beat Sweden 4–2 at home with two late goals, beat Iceland 1–0 at home and won 2–1 away to Turkey before coming back from 2–0 down with fifteen minutes remaining to draw 2–2 away to Hungary and losing 2–1 at home to Turkey. This was followed up by a 2–0 win against Iceland...At their peak while managed by Hodgson, Switzerland were rated the third best international side in the world, according to the FIFA World Rankings.
I know, I know, different era etc. but still...Leave a comment:

One of the worst there's ever been (of any club or nation). A spineless, gutless fraud.Leave a comment:

I'd say you must be more towards 3/4's cut.Ian Wright poo-poohing a foreign manager coz 'we've been there' and yet their win percentage will be much better than anything we have had English wise. I can't think of anything worse than Allardyce, Pardew or Redknapp as manager.
I'm going to say it coz I'm half-cut, but Ferguson would be a good short term solution.
You'll never get a Scot managing England. Not even that one, particularly given we meet in the W.C Qualifiers.Leave a comment:
