Bored so got thinking about this.

There were 6 English lads in our team today. Flanagan, Johnson, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge. Amazing really, especially when you consider the attacking flair with which we play.

Five of those should be in the WC squad. A front three of Sturridge, Rooney and Sterling is potentially brilliant, but it'll be fun watching Hodgson **** it up somehow.

In fact I think England could potentially line up with a pretty interesting side.......

    ----------------------Hart------------------------

    Johnson-------Jagielka---Cahill-------------Baines/Cole

    -------------------Gerrard----------------------------

    -----------Henderson-------Lallana---------------

    ---Sterling----------Sturridge--------------Rooney
    Thanks very much for being

If England had five LFC players in the side I'd find it quite a bit more difficult to cheer against them. Ideally I want England and Hodgson to endure abject humiliation in Brazil (especially if it's inflicted by Suarez)......but obviously want to see our players do well. Hmmm.

I've got a feeling he won't start with Hendo.

The London media would have a fit so Wilshere would be in ahead of Henderson or Lallana so that Roy could keep them off his back for when his tactics failed.
          Never knowingly optimistic

Reckon he'll deffo start Wilshere over Henderson.
Reckon he'll use Barkley as his golden boy too.

You're right, Henderson probably won't start - might not even make the squad - but I think they'd be crazy to overlook him. His energy and fitness would be massive for England in that heat, especially compared to someone like Carrick.

Barkley's been crap since coming back from injury but I think he's gonna be some player. Him or Wilshere would be my first midfield change, but as things that I'd pick Gerrard, Henderson and Lallana.

The bodge will still play Danny Wel**** ahead of Sturridge, The bodge would never play such an attacking team. His head would explode at the thought of 433.

Its 10 at the back for the bodge with the group England have just like he did when we played the chavs in 2010. There's a picture somewhere of it with everyone pretty much in our area.

                  Dark days for LFC.

Yeah I rate him too, think he's been playing with a dodgy toe recently hasn't he?

He is gonna be some player though, two good feet, can dribble and shoot too. Wonder where he will end up though, especially with United hopefully looking a spent force. Chelsea maybe?

I agree with you but Roy is such a ****wit he'll play Wilshere ahead of him. Hendo is faster, a far better athlete, as good a passer (if not better) and has a much better temperament. Wilshere seems to think he's a Liam Brady or Platini type of player, but hasn't got a tenth of the passing ability of either of them. Even when he does try to put some effort in he's much slower than Hendo and is always at risk of getting sent off for tackles the PL refs let him get away with.

7 Merseyside based players in the starting line up

Looking at the midfielder odds for going. Gerrard Wilshere Carrick, Jones, Lampard, Townesend, Milner, Barkley, Ox Chamberlain all ahead of Lallana and Henderson

Could make quite a good treble them two plus sterling making the squad

that team is 3 centre mids, sterling dropping in then one of rooney/studge so 451 he can cope with that

Does Hodgson play 3 in midfield?
                              Are we winning?

I find it strange that someone could want their own national team (that includes their club captain and legend, amongst others) to lose to a foreign team featuring just one club player that, whilst amazing, has only been at the club a couple of years.
