The thing is that this system (which Roy seems to have chosen as the papers recommended looking at how we played admittedly) looks to suit our players pretty well. I think that is one criticism which isn't really fair on Roy. He may have done things at an odd time but he's playing Delph and Stones who are hardly big names. I know he has failed to drop Rooney but a lot of teams keep their top scorer in the team no matter what.

It's a problem we've always had "star" players ever since I can remember, england managers pick the name not the player in form and it's certainly not just a Hodsgon problem.
