It was incredibly depressing when I went to the England v Germany game. Got given tickets and forgot Hodge was there.

Anyway, I stood up the top of Wembley way watching the crowd come in while waiting for a mate. I must have seen/heard 15 different groups of 'lads' signing "10 German Bombers"

Its so depressing, that and no surrender are relics from an age, and the memories associated with them aren't the nicest.

One of my earliest football memories was the Ireland v England Lansdowne Road riot. I just dont understand why people want to recrate that.
