Don't know if he's scouse but from what I've gathered over the years an awful lot of scouse LFC fans feel exactly the same way.No affinity for the England team whatsoever.

I thought I did. But it turns out I don't. I assumed a guy I work with does because he goes to so many away days. Turns out he just uses as an excuse for an overseas jolly and hardly ever goes the game

It just doesn't make any sense. You're suggesting that anyone from a place that doesn't have a successful football team supports England, but adding London! Who obviously have more successful teams than any other part of the country

Then you've forgotten the nationwide plague of england flags fluttering from the windows of white vans up and down the land every time the Euros or World Cup comes around.

I'm pretty sure it's not just a London and the provinces thing.
