Surely the captain would put a word in for him

I'm not sure I can want them to fail now, he obviously will fail with them anyway regardless but a league and world cup double for Gerrard, Sterling and that would be amazing.

The more of our players that are involved the more difficult it will be to hate them

How brave do people think he'll be with the world cup squad selection? The second half of this season you would have to say that Flannagan, Stones and Shaw have hugely out performed the likes of Jones, Smalling and Cole (and Jagielka has been injured for ages it seems). All the best wide players look to be youngsters - Sterling, Chamberlain etc. COuld be a very young, exciting squad if he wants it to be.

I don't think it will be to be honest I expect him to take some of the youngsters, probably mostly in the attacking areas but defensively I think he'll play it safe and go for older / more experienced players.

Aye. With half the team due to be our players it's gonna be very difficult to want them to fail.

They're not the Liverpool players you love when they put on that England shirt. They're cloned automatons who do Woy and the white van man's bidding.

Yeah I suspect he'll go for a gwoup wiv a liddle bid more expewience. Shame, would be nice to see lots of those young players get a chance.

Saw him walking along Chelsea Embankment this afternoon. Thought about heckling him from my van but couldn't think of anything witty in time. The weasel looks very trim and had a younger looking blond woman with him the wiley old fox
