Lallana and Sterling have booked their places, just need Henderson. Double whammy that he's out at the moment
Surely the captain would put a word in for him
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I'm not sure I can want them to fail now, he obviously will fail with them anyway regardless but a league and world cup double for Gerrard, Sterling and that would be amazing.

The more of our players that are involved the more difficult it will be to hate them

How brave do people think he'll be with the world cup squad selection? The second half of this season you would have to say that Flannagan, Stones and Shaw have hugely out performed the likes of Jones, Smalling and Cole (and Jagielka has been injured for ages it seems). All the best wide players look to be youngsters - Sterling, Chamberlain etc. COuld be a very young, exciting squad if he wants it to be.

I don't think it will be to be honest I expect him to take some of the youngsters, probably mostly in the attacking areas but defensively I think he'll play it safe and go for older / more experienced players.

Aye. With half the team due to be our players it's gonna be very difficult to want them to fail.

Roy Hodgson: 'Sexy football' – that's never really been a description for me
The England manager knows he is not everyone's cup of tea but, in this extract from 2012, he explains how his travels have shaped his coaching philosophy link
Good Old Bodgson
"To be honest, I learnt Swedish mainly out of courtesy. It wasn't a sine qua non of coaching, as the players were so good at English. In fact, they somewhat preferred the coaching and team talk to be in English – it was a bonus for them.
Translation - "It wasn't essential to learn the language. Actually, **** 'essential', I want to sound intelligent and verbose so I'll say "sine qua non" instead""

Saw him walking along Chelsea Embankment this afternoon. Thought about heckling him from my van but couldn't think of anything witty in time. The weasel looks very trim and had a younger looking blond woman with him the wiley old fox
