Hes always been a massive cunt

My family use to know a member of Forests coaching staff and they couldnt wait to get him out the door when us and Everton lodged bids for him

I dont know how he has the cheek to talk about players in the way he does, the guys a complete ****ing hypocrite and it surprises me that more people dont pull him up for the attitude he showed towards training when he was a player

OPINION: HODGSON SHIFTING FOCUS ONTO STERLING PROVES HE IS A POOR MANAGER…AGAIN

Raheem Sterling has been the subject of much abuse from England fans after manager Roy Hodgson revealed he was feeling tired and did not want to start Sunday’s game against Estonia and it appears as though the national team coach will once again get away with being a failure.

And this is typical of Hodgson to shift the attention onto one of his players at a time when his national side struggle to victory over 10-man Estonia. Luckily for the England boss Wayne Rooney, despite having an awful game, managed to sneak a late victory with a free-kick that the goalkeeper really should have saved, else it was have been a dreadful result. Sterling is the future of English football, he has what it takes to become one of the best players in the world, either that or he will burn out by the age of 26 like Michael Owen. Nobody wants that and if you want to blame somebody for Sterling missing the Estonia match, it’s Hodgson. If the player is tired it’s baffling why you would play him in a game against the worst team in the world and then rest him in a harder, well slightly harder, game. Sterling has played more minutes this season than any England player other than Gary Cahill, and the last time he was played this much (early in the 12-13 campaign) he lost his form and didn’t recapture it until around December 2013 – this can’t be allowed to happen again.

Hodgson is no good at on-the-field management, and this proves, if it wasn’t already proven before, that he is just as bad at off-the-field management. Managers are supposed to protect their players from critics, or at least not shove them into the public’s eye in a bad light, but Hodgson decided to tell the world that 19-year-old Sterling ‘complained’ to him about feeling tired. And now the young Liverpool star has been abused on social networking sites, criticised by former players such as Alan Shearer, and mocked by football writers – why would Hodgson want to do this to one of his most talented players?

There’s two possible reasons: 1. Hodgson is a clueless idiot, so didn’t know the effects of what he was doing 2. Hodgson wanted to deflect the attention from himself after two poor performances, albeit wins, against San Marino and Estonia. And it’s not the first time Hodgson has shifted the blame in his managerial career when things weren’t going right for him. His tactics and management left Liverpool FC in the relegation zone after seven games of the season and instead of admitting he needed to change, he blamed the fans for protesting against the then club owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks by saying: “The protest does not help”. And then, much like he has done with Sterling, he launched an attack on Glen Johnson (he was good at the time, I promise) in his press conference: “He’s not performed – very often at least – to the level I’d expect of him”. Is this the kind of man you want in charge of the national team? One that can’t take the blame when things aren’t going well. It’s one of the reasons I no longer care for the English national team and would rather my club’s players stayed at home.

And there can’t be many more England fans who think that Roy Hodgson is a great manager and the one to lead the national team forward – if there are any left, they are probably the gullible people who listen to everything FA mouthpieces such as The Telegraph’s Henry Winter and controversy lovers Adrian Durham have to tell them. Hodgson is an arrogant man and for no reason at all, he has never taken a big job and succeeded – Liverpool, England, Inter Milan all prove that. Give him a relatively small club like West Brom or Malmo and he’ll do fine.

His appalling tactics at the World Cup lead to England embarrassingly finishing below Costa Rica and Uruguay in their group, picking up just one point which Hodgson described as ‘encouraging’. There was the anger at the press for criticising England’s two shots on target when he believed hitting the woodwork counted as on target. Then he decided to ignore a player’s training regime, which ended up with Daniel Sturridge getting injured and being out of action for at least six weeks. After that he described himself as ‘eloquent’ yet despite his eloquence he managed to offend anybody with a Scouse accent. And now of course he hung the country’s most talented youngster out to dry. It’s embarrassing. Being English and supporting the England national team is meant to make you feel proud, I will never feel proud with that fool in charge of the country. And that is just one reason why, for me, club is always more important than country.

Well, i must admit to having an inner giggle when he said..'You pwess always look at the negatives, if we lose 2-0 you wont look at the fact it wasn't 3-0, because that's a positive'.
