Without Zaha Palace are useless. They might hold out for a while but they are bound to concede in the end and they offer nothing in attack.

I remember Hodgson beating United when in charge at Fulham by doing the very thing United hated and most teams refused to do- having a go at them. It was the only time I was ever impressed by him and it was the straw I clutched when we announced he was coming here.

They are decimated by injuries at the minute and on paper, United should put 4 or 5 past them, but so should Spurs and they struggled last week.

Need Bodger to do us a favour tomorrow, so basically they will lose... the end.

The odd thing is. CP have enough decent players to not be in the position they are but they suffered key injuries at the start of the season. They've had a few more since but the key players are more or less back or certainly contributed to getting a few games won. More than that old duffer anyway IMO.

    What the ****?!

I would have thought Conte had slightly stronger claims.

Since Hodgson’s return to Selhurst Park, Palace have won 27 points which would be good enough for 14th-place in the table if the season had started when he was appointed.

    Quite simply an outstanding achievement
