I honestly think he deserves the nod. We aren't a good side and pretending we are going to go there playing good football seems like madness. Holt has scored and created chances for a side playing a style I would suggest is not a million miles from what Hodgson is going to try to implement.

Fair point about not going there under the illusion of playing good football but at 31 with no prior experience wouldn't his role suit Andy Carroll better.
