It's obvious Roy hasn't had that much time with the team.

They still seem to play with reasonable shape

Jones and Milner down the right. ****in hell. Woeful.

What a run by super Phil i fully expect the worlds greatest athlete to bring back the gold this summer in all the olympic events. Never mind michael phelps with his measly 6 gold's phil's going to win the lot.

Andy townsed went on for 5 mins about how roy's fulham's best attribute was being hard to beat. Then said he'll bring those attributed to the england job. Not with that defence they wont, god jones is ****.

I grew up in the 70s where England, for one reason or another, just couldn't get their **** together in qualifying tournaments. However since the 1980 Euros, in Italy I think,we've headed off to every major tournament we've qualified for harboring the belief we were gonna have a really good chance of going all the way. Can someone explain to me why, now the Bodge is at the helm, these expectations are no longer there and talk of an all out assault on a major prize are actually being played down by press and media alike? Why now?? It's a ****ing joke. England are gonna bomb in the upcoming Euros and Hodgson is gonna come home totally unscathed.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Because he is pulling the same **** he did at Liverpool mate. Liverpool and England are too big for him so he is trying to bring them down to his level.

Cunt or not, Hodgson seems to like us Great moment for Kelly, should be a motivation to keep on working hard.

It's an odd one, now it's the fans moaning...and the media praising and making excuses for Roy, wtf!

Is it just that they want to see us LFC fans proved wrong about Roy not being able to handle the big time ?

                            Are they that desperate!

I've read three reports - Guardian, BBC and Independent and none of them seem to be cheering Bodge. For instance, the headline in the Independent:

Young strike gives spark to dreary England

Norway 0 England 1: Hodgson's reign begins with a victory but there's precious little to get excited about from typically workmanlike performance less than two weeks before Euro 2012
                              Hardly a ringing endorsement.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Only had half an eye on the game, but bits of that second half brought back fond memories.............rigid lines across the pitch, retreating back when not in possession, aimless direct balls.
                                Fantastic.
