I know, but that's what makes it so clever. No-one else could do that. No-one.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Whereas I'd like them to be worth watching but I'm strange like that.

The thing is Roy's master plan is probably just to be **** for years and then after that by magic the team will just win 3 trophies on the bounce. He can't see that the Spanish have completely overhauled things.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Incredible. How does he think that actually makes any sense?

No doubt Southgate has seen Hodgson's plans.

He's left ITV too hasn't he? My first thought was that he had a managers job lined up somewhere

Nope, staying with ITV. Dixon will be fuming

Seriously reckon this has something to do with Hodgson. Southgate gave some very iffy answers about Hodgson and his style during the Euros. Don't think he wants to be part of it.

He's from Crawley, and Crawley Town are now manager-less

It's a thankless task with Roy at the helm of the seniors.

Not sure Southgate was the man for the job but he seems much more progressive than Hodgson.
