"He is a good, young player. It will be the first time he is at a club that plays to win - it will be different for him," City boss Roberto Mancini said.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Everyone's been mentioning his potential for years but he's done **** all.
Good deal for Everton and a strange signing for City.
I think that just shows he's played a lot despite being only 21 really. He's clearly stagnated at Everton (not helped by injuries) but I think he'll grow at City. I'd say it's a decent signing for them.

Anyone find the Rodwell signing bit baffling? Constantly injured and hasn't shown any sort of progress. IMO just another over hyped young english player that won't even get his game for City.
Akin to Henderson and a better deal then Henderson's also.
I don't lets call the deals at the bottom end as we don't know what will makie the deal the top end but likelyhood is they would both have to do well to activate clauses.
I would rather pay 13.5million on the clubs young player of the season for 2 seasons and one that has had a few standout matches than 11m on a player that has been riddled with injuries and hasnt had a good game for about 2 seasons.
Every bluenose I know is delighted with this deal its exactly the deal they needed to get a couple of more first teamers in who don't play to win.
Fulham star Moussa Dembele has emerged as one of the options for Real Madrid, if they fail to push through a deal for Luka Modric, Sky Sports understands.
The Belgium international has been strongly linked with a move away from Craven Cottage this summer, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham believed to be monitoring his situation.
Now Real Madrid have made contact with Dembele's representatives, with a view to making a move for the 25-year-old as they are yet to agree a deal with Tottenham for long-term target Modric.
And Dembele, who is currently on international duty with Belgium, has admitted that he knows Real have made contact.
Interest
"My manager has already talked with Real," he told Het Nieuwsblad.
"There have been contacts between my agent and Real Madrid. They have wanted information and that was it.
"I cannot say much else about it - everything is calm, but I cannot say where I will be playing."
Dembele, who arrived in England as a striker, has moved more and more into a midfield role where it is believed Real see him playing.
And he admits that is where he sees himself, adding: "I feel more of a midfielder than striker. It is even my favourite position."
Sky Sports understands that Dembele could be leaving Craven Cottage this month, and Real's interest could alert his English suitors.
We also understand that the fact Dembele has a release clause of less than £20million is an appealing factor.
