So did I. He looked amazing for Sociedad or whoever it was.

I saw a couple of minutes of a game on LFCTV a day or two ago and it featured that kit with the collar from 2002-3 (I think). Anyway, there were Smicer and Berger, Redknapp was captain, Fowler - that era.

The shirt was all billowy, it looked like they were all wearing blouses, or artist's smocks. Ridiculous. There was definitely something Pans People about it.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I very nearly went out and got Torres on my shirt after that pic of him with the World Cup and a Liverpool scarf. They'd run out of 9's...my next pick was Joe Cole...luckily they were out of 1's too so I didn't get anything. The only time I've ever considered having a players name on my shirt
That sounds like the club shop we all know and love

AVB would and should have the absolute rule over CFC if we were to grab him as manager..

IF they got Hulk and Falcao and being a previous manager.. etc..

Newcastle United will risk losing hot property striker Demba Ba, 26, this summer as they refuse to renegotiate the terms of his contract to remove a £7m release clause.
                  Full story: Daily Telegraph

Chelsea have had a £32.4m offer for exciting young Brazil midfielder Lucas Moura rejected according to Sao Paulo club president Juvenal Juvenico. "Lucas is a fantastic player with great qualities who is giving so much to the team," Juvenico said of the 19-year-old, capped 11 times by his country.

It says a lot about how much we have fallen from grace that I think Kalou could do a job for us.

Unfortunately I was thinking the same! Could've done with someone like him chipping in with 10 goals last season.

As player, manager or director of football?

                          Maybe all three.

We should be in for Kalou - better than what we have imo. Bosingwa is good too but we're spoiled for choice at right back so we don't need him...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Reminds me of a poll in Private Eye:

Is the low turnout at the local elections a problem?

                                Yes 2%
                                No 1%
