I sometimes wonder if football wouldn't be better/fairer if the prices of players were set by someone other than the clubs selling that player, would/could that work ?
I know it's very football manager'ish, but it wouldn't half take away a lot of the ****e involved in transfers.
Dembele looks a n excellent player, dunno about Lloris though IMO has deteriorated dramatically after bursting onto the scene. He is horrendous at dealing with crosses although is super shot stopper.
Always thought he was the most overrated keeper in the world, but Julio Cesar is a hell of a capture for QPR. So weird, they ditch and sell Paddy Kenny, sign Rob Green and now look ready to ditch him already.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
I hope they've put some sort of clause in the players' contracts. If they haven't and they get relegated then they'll be ****ed.
If they go down it will be hilarious.
I read somewhere that they have about 40 first team players on the books.
The transfer policy is a joke, signing a load of players near the end of their careers with no sell on value and have to replace most again in the next couple of years.

They said exactly the same thing on the radio the other day. None of the players they've signed have any sort of sell-on value at all. Maybe Hoilett?
They don't seem to have any sort of game plan either. They're just happy to pick up old hasbeens who have played at a good level and are now finishing their careers off.
i just read that javi martinez is still looking for a move after dithering on a new deal at bilbao. i thought he had moved to bayern earlier in the window...?
