Been saying it for years. He's held the club to ransom for 10+ years. Kicking up when they don't sign players or managers he wants etc.

Lille won the league last year, not PSG though. I watch the french league quite regularly and it’s not devoid of quality.

Anyway, agree about PSG, they’ve got a few players near the end of their careers now and haven’t won the cl yet but Messi might bring them it.

I've seen alot of people say this about Messi helping PSG (or City when he was linked there) to win the CL. Although he's won it 4 times at Barcelona, only one of those have been in the last 10 years, so I'm not really sure there is that much justification for that.

agreed- especially when PSG were already pretty decent up front, it’s not where they needed to strengthen IMO- granted they did strengthen midfield and defense too this window!

Also, if they don’t get Mbappe to extend his contract, their front line will be much weaker in the next 12 months- I know who I’d rather between a 23 year old Mbappe or a 35 year old messi!

I'd always assumed he would go on to be a 'retire the jersey' one club man at Barca, thats a legacy. He just seems like a complete prick and is in a bigger way than he realises responsible for the mess at Barca. He seemed to have taken on a director of football role over the last few years. His thumbs up or down being pivotal in what they did and who they signed and sold. All of that with no view on a bigger picture.
