I wouldn't have Koeman centre-mid. Trying to think who I'd have instead. Matthäus would probably be more 80s rather than 90s, as he turned 29 in 1990 I think.

Carlos Valderrama because he had the best hair by far. He was also a brilliant footballer.

Baresi was finished in the 90's I think???? And Maldini was Left Back. And Koeman was a defender. Your team lacks balance and does not deserve 3 Jizz bombs - only 1

Alessandro Costacurta would be my pick for centre back.

Baresi played in the 90s. Finished in 1997 FFS.

Koeman could play that holding role or libero role and was class. Got the nod ahead of Mattaeus because the German did not really play in the 90s.

Maldini was a LB but equally good at CB and ahead of the likes of Costacurta IMO. The best defender of all time IMO so could not leave him out and anyway I have the most incerdible wing backs in Carlos and Cafu.

So, 3 jizz bombs was the least this team deserves.

It's just 'that freekick' that elevated him. Since then he's been woefully off target with every other he's taken.

Maldini aside (but I still think of him more of a CB) I cannot think of any better LB/LWB in the 90s though.

Not sure about Redondo or Koeman in midfield. I would take Roy Keane ahead of any of them!
