I agree. If England score, and that's a big if, then it will either be from a set piece or from open play.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I hope we beat the french I really do but it won't be affecting my life either way, I think we'll progress from the group and do fairly well overall, but it won't be spectacular but who cares afterall a win is a win over

Has anyone else just watched Ian Dowie wank himself silly on Sky Sports News? He basically had us winning the trophy based on what Sky thinks the line up will be

I can't wait for tonight. It's going to be like the Scooby Doo ending when they catch the crook at the end and unmask him/ her with a 'Let's see who it really is' moment. Except tonight the mask is going to be lifted and the world'll see that the gentleman, tactition under the cover is really a daft old **** called Roy.

I fully expect the old duffer to blame the French when his arse gets handed to him tonight
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Has no one told him that expectations are low this year which means England are definitely going to win.

I mean there will be no build up play, it will be from a quick break

I reckon it will be a draw. Henderson to play the killer pass, Gerrard to convert.

England will get 2 points from the group and go out.

I think we'll do okay. I predict a draw tonight.

Is everyone(anyone) watching it then? I'm not.

I'll leave work at the usual time, go home, get changed, then off to play 5 a side.
                              Oh I don't know.
