Hopefully they can justify the increase of £5 over ESPN though, because at the moment all I can see they are offering is a couple more games and some Motogp.

Hopefully this shocks Sky Sports into dropping their price down a little. A bit of competition is good for everyone.
No chance Sky will drop their prices. They have the new TV deal to pay for.
    Oh I don't know.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Now I know we all said it about Neville, but there's no chance Ferdinand is going to be anything like Neville. **** BT
Seriously?? Have they heard him speak, he can barely string a coherent sentence together
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I have just cancelled Sky Sports and downgraded to the basic tv package on Virgin. I'm saving over £40 per month.

I feel liberated. **** you Sky.
          Oh I don't know.

I'm so tempted to do it. Trouble is I'm getting Sky Sports for £5 a month for 6 months or so now. Damn those deals.

I don't want to miss the Ashes either.
            *Except Michael, who died.

I keep getting £5 off my shopping at Tesco too. And I hate myself for spending them.
              Oh I don't know.

What happens if you've got virgin with the free espn?
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I'm hoping the BT channels will just slot in where the vacated ESPN once was but I can't see it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Oh I did ask about BT sport on Virgin. Negotiations are ongoing so no announcements yet.

Cool ta. They only confirmed Satan-ta to ESPN at the last minute.

**** me, what a dull game.

Presumably Virgin's deal to give ESPN for free as part of their top packages is presenting a problem.

To elaborate, non BT broadband customers will be charged £15 per month for their sports channels. Add that to the £26 odd for Sky Sports and that is a lot of wedge to ask for. BT need to recoup their costs but it makes their claim of reaching out as far as they can for free a complete fallacy.

Virgin know that. But because they provide a platform only without content, it makes them unique in the market. With pros and cons.

They can't buy up rights to sell their services, but also, that doesn't make them a competitor, nor a threat.

Just carrying out a customer survey for Sky and this has popped up

The BT Sports channel is available to Sky TV customers with five possible options:

                              i. If you already have a BT Broadband subscription there is no additional cost (but subject to 12 month renewal contract)
ii. Switch to a BT Broadband subscription from £10 per month (excluding line rental)
iii. Stay with your existing Broadband provider (not BT) and pay £12 per month to BT directly to get the channel (one-off £15 set up fee may apply)
iv. Switch to BT Vision together with BT Broadband from £15 per month (excluding line rental)
                              v. Stop taking pay-TV altogether and watch via app/online with a BT Broadband subscription from £10 per month (excluding line rental)

I am with BE broadband and they've been bought by SKY.
                                Are we winning?
