Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Jake Humphreys, Macca, Midget and Butterfingers... they really are dredging the bottom of the pundit barrel with that lot. It was awful tonight. More plastic in that new BT studio than 45,000 Chav flags.

If I'd paid for all that back-slapping, egotistical, ****ty-banter nonsense, I'd be well pissed off..

Haha yeah I only saw 5 minutes or so but it looked pretty cringeworthy

That said, I just want to watch the games and don't tend to bother with the build-up stuff.

Will BT offer all the same channels as Virgin or is it just a free view box with their own sports channels, which then you have to pay extra for any channels such as discovery and alike?

Is it worth looking into buying a dish and a separate receiver to get the foreign channels for sport or have they managed to block this now as well?
                        Go **** yourself

I've just seen the new Sky football ad. It has tipped me much closer to ditching Sky Sports. Bloody awful.

The usual hype about the importance of football.

That's football played by millionaires for clubs owned by billionaires shown on a television network owned by a billionaire that has paid billions to get the right to charge mugs like us for what used to be the people's game.
