we would be in a hell of a different place today if we'd signed a couple of those. it does matter.

Dave are we saying that sigurdsson is at laudrups level because without disrespecting gylfi comparing him to laudrup is like comparing dagenham and redbridge to barcelona.

He might end up being a decent player but if we were really that desperate to sign him we would have put up the money.

Ok mate. before BR joined and gylfi was about to join swansea I didnt for one second think we should have signed him. I didnt even think about him other than he was doing alright at swansea. One thing I felt that if he didnt score what else did he do.

I don't think that highly of him either But if the manager does then I want him signed for that reason only. We just don't know if this is the manager not wanting him that badly or if the owners have over ruled him. Time will tell. Hopefully when Spurs unveil Siggy we unveil someone better that we've kept under wraps.
