Don't get the anger towards Sigurdsson really.
There's not much to choose between us and Spurs these days, if anything they are slightly the more attractive proposition. Sad but true. They also offered him double the wages.
I think most players would have made the same choice given those circumstances.

Fair points above, but that I would disagree with. It is not that tough a choice really, we are building something special (not that you can tell yet) and we are Liverpool FC so a hard sell is not even needed 99% of the time.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostDon't get the anger towards Sigurdsson really.

Gylfi is an oddball Manc supporter who merely sees Spurs as a stepping stone to his dream move to the toilet."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Not as though he's come out and had a go at us is it. And the thread title is a bit of a giveaway. If you don't like it then cunt off out of the thread.

Disagree. We might feel we are building "something special" but to any outsider I'd say you could say exactly the same about Spurs. They finish above us in the league regularly these days, have just got a higher profile manager than us, are outspending us at present, buying some excellent players and bidding for outstanding talents like Oscar. Their stadium is nearer to coming to fruition than ours too. They seem to be showing more ambition than us at present.Originally posted by Tee View PostFair points above, but that I would disagree with. If you take off the red tinted glasses I'd say they edge us right now.

Sad but true. We are below Tottenham right now.
