I'm disappointed that all the reservations I had about all the players we wasted a massive budget on have been justified. I wanted to be proved wrong.

I can't imagine anybody as a Liverpool fan would have picked any of those players to embellish the squad and push us forward - I can't get my head around why they were signed, it just dumbfounds me.

why does it take so long for us to sign even players at this level?

I reckon even with Maxi & kuyt off the books, we still need to clear more before getting anyone in. slightly worrying when we're in transition and trying to get ahead of the teams above us. I'm not convinced these owners have any money or not enough for what is needed these days. I laughed at the ffp bull**** when it was mentioned. were we really that naive to think it would ever work when half the clubs are owned by dodgy billionaires that know every trick in the book?

oh well, too early to confirm either way, just my instincts kicking in.
