adam for £5 mill? jay for £2 mill? so by "substantial" we are only talking £7 mill fee maybe. not a huge fan of dempsey but thats not a lot of money for him.

Thats laughable - They'd have to charge nearly every prem manager, but then again they'd probably charged BR just because he is the Liverpool manager

I don't think we broke any rules but it is very conceivable that we unsettled the player to the point that he doesn't want to play for Fulham any longer.

Fulham is trying to put the pressure on us to make the official offer and get this done with it.

I hope we don't as it seems we have an upper hand in this case for the first time in a long time and we will probably be able to get him cheaper if we wait until very late in the window..
