That's a good point. I think the figure was around 40k? I would expect BR to do the same with Dempsey.
By the same, I mean tell him to 'do one' if he's not happy with the offer.

I think were at a slight disadvantage now, everyone views us as being desperate to get rid.

Why could'nt we play on AC's end of season form, talk his england goal up..and then somehow instigate a rumour about him being available for an ok price, as BR is'nt sure about him, but IS willing to give him a try, but that an ok'ish bid could tempt him.
