As does having a bunch of players on large salaries from the CL period knocking about and somewhat unwanted. It makes no sense just to create an ever more bloated squad. Especially as our need/desperation to sell in such a situation might drive down the prices we get for players as they leave.

We should have a summer fundraising Fete at Anfield. There could be loads of stalls, selling home made cup cakes and also a raffle in which the prize could be some of the players we want to get rid of. And it would be a great alternative use for the new tent! Maybe Coco could come along and make a guest appearance.

I think you need to look at where we were as a club over the last few seasons..

As was mentioned, having players on high salaries without being in the CL doesn't bode well..

If I was FSG, I'd be very wary of forking out millions at the moment.
