there's only a handful of british teams that would be a real step up for him, and those clubs don't really need him.

Well there doesn’t seem to be much interest from abroad either. Even Dirk seemed to attract a lot of interest after a poor season.

Not that that defines who the better player is but everything else worth debating just comes down to my personal opinion vs Kenneth’s and we both already know where we stand.

i mean but seriously, who cares? brenny and the jets thinks he's going to improve the side and he's trying to negotiate a price that makes sense for what we hope to get from him. let's let the man work. i honestly don't care if he comes or not, i'm more interested in whether the coach thinks that's who we need to push on.

Personally I think Dirk is a far better player overall.

Dirk was a good grafter (big deal) and he did get some important goals but he was slow cumbersome with the first touch of a sledgehammer.

Dempsey is currently playing better than Dirk did for the last 3 seasons.

We should also consider our position and our limits, we are an above average club with a decent history offering 2nd tier European football.

I genuinely think that he would surprise alot of people, just my opinion but i'd like to see Dempsey here i think every team needs a player like Dempsey with that bit of fire and balls & IMO would make a great addition to the squad

I absolutely love(d) Dirky, but no way was he better last season than Dempsey. No way.

Pick any of Dirk's seasons with us and none of them are more productive than Dempsey's last season. Forwards need to be productive and that's what Dempsey seems to bring to the table. I care not that he's a boggle eyed wind-up merchant

We are were we are, the sooner people realise it and accept it.. the better IMO.
