Do we think Arsenal will learn from last season and shift him early so they can reinvest or do the usual and wait until the end of the window?

I feel you might be missing the point a little and taking this a little bit seriously. Maybe.
      Oh I don't know.

It'd be funny if they just went for Klaas Jan Huntelaar. They'll probably go for someone younger and try to get Luuk De Jong in as he's younger and very technically able.

I remember at the end of the season Wenger was having Van Persie over at his house for talks. Been pretty clear he wasn't going to stay with them since there was nothing to follow after that.

Arsenal will surely sell him now asap

Unless they decide its more prudent to use him for a season for Champions League qualification. There's no way they'll get anybody in who's at his standard before the end of the transfer window.

Nah it would make more sense to try and get £25m for him. Its all about the fee really and whether they would get enough to make it worthwhile. Makes more sense to get the money and spend it now and still aim for champions league qualification

Which i suppose means he want's them to go out and spend **** loads of cash, and Arsenal want to continue as is ?
Probably.. They have only spend around £20m now on the 2 players they've brought it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Van Persie leave for a similar price with them selling Arshavin, Bendtner and a few cast off's and bringing in a midfielder, breaking even.

He wants to win trophies, he won't sign for us.

How much will this benefit is in the next few years with our quest to get back in the top 4 then?

The sensible thing would be to shift him early.

                        **** knows with Wenger though!

If Villa leaves, then could Barca be an option?

Hahahahahahahahahaha for real? I'm not sure some people realise where we are as a club. We do not have a snowballs chance in hell of signing the likes of RVP.

I think Norb's post was in jest to ~LFC History~'s post about a 'cheeky bid'.

I don't think Van Persie's ego would fit at Barcelona, just in my opinion, obv.

Depends entirely on how his replacement(s) perform I reckon.

I just can't imagine him in a Barca shirt full stop.
