Don't really think they have a full back issue as such, as for the midfield yes id o agree, but they will sell another 3 or 4 players and United somehow usually get very good fees for players, i still reckon they'll sign a midfielder before the windows end.Originally posted by red g View Postwell you see this is where i think it depends on the Budget.....I amongst many liverpool fans would not be happy if we spunked most of our budget on RVP when we are so clearly lacking in other areas.
For instance I would take Allen and Borini over RVP becuase i think they will bring more to Liverpool over the years and also help 2 positions not one.
Great player yes, Solve there fullback and midfield issues? no

It shows his desperation for me. It's a move they would never normally have made. He's desperate to wrestle the league back off City before he retires/dies.

Actually it is the type of signing that he's made before. Berbatov and Yorke spring to mind.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View Post

He is buying RVP to give him the best chance of retiring with a bang.
Talk of United being financially stricken was always wrong and premature. They are being milked royally by the Glazers but they can still push the boat out - especially when they're signing silly sponsorship deals with the likes of Chevrolet.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
