I think our biggest need is a prolific striker followed by a dominant CM'er and as you rightly say creativity on the wings.

From the admittedly little of I've seen of him he's similar to Suarez in that he pops up on both wings and in the centre, a very unpredictable player. But if you're expecting him to hug the touchline and put crosses in ala Riera then you'll probably be disappointed.

I know he's not that type of player, we don't really need that type of player, we just need a quality attacking midfielder who can break down defences and create for others. He's exactly that.

And I really don't think we need a starting calibre striker at all, we need to give Carroll/Suarez a fair chance as a partnership.

Carroll will never be the striker we need to help get us into the CL, he just isn't good enough I'm afraid and as much as I like Suarez he's a poor finisher. We need a top class striker this summer urgently.
