I haven't seen that much of him, but I didn't think he looked *that* special. I know Mos is a big fan though, and I think he's watched loads of him. He's very young as well so loads of room to improve. Be interesting to see how he gets on.

There is doubts that he would succeed in the premiership due to his style of play. He sounds like he could be like Aquilani - great in the Italian league, not so great in the premier league. Who knows

I have no idea. I've listened to interviews from Marcotti and Vickery and neither of them talk too highly of him and they are both very good analysts. Have a trail through this thread for links to the interviews. Vickery as also said he has flopped pretty badly for Uruguay

I have only seen one full match with him which Mostar kindly sent me the donwload link for. It was hard to judge though. You'd think if he was all that then he'd have some of the CL clubs in for him but I suppose he is a bit more under the radar playing for Bologna.

He is a very good player but he is predominantly attacking mid so I cannot see why Spurs would be interested as they picked up a very similar player in Sigurdsson.

I personally would hope it is us going after him as I think he is the missing link upfront.

He can make things happen for Suarez and Borini and he has the ability to be a difference maker himself.

I wouldn't want him on our wings as some have suggested, but as that late midfielder who picks up pockets of space and makes things happen.

He is also a very versatile footballer as Bologna used him not only as a wide player but also as a second striker and he did pretty decent job in both positions.

That said, it is unlikely it is us as Bologna supposedly wants 25m for him and if that is the case his likely next destination will be MCFC

Bologna President said he won't go to either Juve or Milan. Only abroad and only for the money they had in mind.

His agent said he won't go to Inter (yes Inter) as Bologna wants 25m and Wolfsburg is interested but they cannot come close to that type of evaluation

I'd guess he's starting high but he'll probably go for something like £18m which is a fair whack anyway.. City have too many better players in that position for them to be interested and as it stands he's not going to get near Madrid or Barca.. PSG?
