Gaston Ramirez’s agent Oscar Betancourt claims he held talks with Liverpool officials regarding a possible move to Anfield. However, he has only received an offer from Tottenham for the winger.

The 22-year-old Bologna attacker has been linked with a move to the Premier League, after impressing in Italy.

Reports yesterday claimed that Liverpool had a bid for the Uruguayan accepted but Betancourt says that is untrue. It now appears that the north London side are front runners for his signature.
