When you say milk the club do you mean receive the pay that was outlined in their contract and we offered when we pursued them and persuaded them to sign for us?
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I think it goes both ways tbh. Borini never really got a decent shot here, and I think it's okay he doesn't want to leave at all costs - sometimes we fans even get angry when players does want to leave

Really don't understand people criticising Borini for wanting to stay at Liverpool.

Liverpool FC offered him the contract and he signed it. Refreshing to see a player honouring his contract
        Another MASSIVE game

hes only honouring his contract cos hes ****. if he was any good he would be whinging for a move away.

if a player is happy to stay then he isnt good enough to play for us. fact.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I agree, remembering BR was salivating to sign him, it is not his fault that we then decided he was poor. prestige being a LFC player or the highlights of a dodgy NE ****hole....

That's the most disappointing part about Borini.

He always knew he was going to be 4th choice striker and the chances of his making it last year with us were small at best.

He was given 2 opportunities last summer, one from QPR and one from Sunderland where he would've been first or 2nd choice striker playing in PL but it appears lower wages and type of clubs actually showing interest in him were not as appealing as perhaps the chance to play regularly.

No question that the club shares some of the blame for this situation but you would think, given his age and his NT aspirations, that he would have chosen playing time over anything else.

Either way, at this point it is all about shipping him out but the loan move is not ideal for us.

Pretty sure he was offered higher wages elsewhere
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

He might be expected to actually play football in exchange for higher wages?

I think he needs to belong to a club who will give him responsibility. Here he is less than peripheral. At another club he could be the main man and he might thrive who knows? The longer he stays here the more his talent is being wasted. He needs to find a club who will give him the game time he needs to prove his worth.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree, he could end up really damaging his career by hanging around not playing for two straight seasons, but he also cost us probably 7-10 million including his wages by hanging around unwanted. I'm sorry, but I have no time for him.

Wasted 3 years of a limited career - I'm sure it won't bother him when he's counting his millions after he retires

Personally, I'd have rather played some frigging football than train for 3 years
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

I think him sitting on the bench and missing out on the NT will just lead to lower contracts later in his career so it evens out IMO.
