I quite like him. I know he didn't have the best run in the start, but for me he showed enough that he can become a good player. I'm not quite sure why people have almost written him off from the get go. He's been injured for the majority of his time here and I thought his attitude has been excellent and his run of cameos at the end of last season were promising. Hope that goal gives him some confidence to build on for next season.
I've absolutely zero hope for him if he keeps being played out wide. I know everyone says it but it's simple. He'll never make it with us if that's his position. I also don't think he'll ever be our first choice striker. He'll improve plenty and I'm more than happy to have him as our third choice striker. Pricey third choice at £11m but he's here now.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He had 2 more good chances prior to that goal but he couldn't make goalkeeper work, which to me is his biggest issue.
He has ability to find himself in good scoring chances but he then tries to be too perfect.
He needs to simplify, just like he did with the only goal of that match, and make sure that he hits the target and the rest will come.
