The BSS trio will cause defenders all sorts of problems, theres no doubting it. Put a genuine creative #10 like Sneijder in behind them and its all systems go.

Haha that'd be fun to watch. All sorts of problems at the back though.

No doubting his movement alrightOriginally posted by spider-neil View PostBorini's movement is absolutely superb. I think what may eventually happen is Sturridge and Suarez play wide with Borini playing through the middle, I think his movement and goal instincts are that good. Well, we'll see.

Don't doubt Borini's movement and commitment isn't fantastic, it is his technique and composure that i'd be concerned about.Last edited by danperkins; 14-01-13, 01:57 PM.

You cant really tell much after only 11 games for us. Some of which were sub appearances. In fact, he has only played in the Premier League a total of 6 times. He is learning about the prem on the job.Originally posted by danperkins View PostDon't doubt Borini's movement and commitment isn't fantastic, it is his technique and composure that i'd be concerned about.*Except Michael, who died.

True, but i'm allowed to be concerned by no means a damning critique of the lad. I have no problem with Borini he works hard and shows commitment that will endear him to the fans.Originally posted by Alex View PostYou cant really tell much after only 11 games for us. From the short time he has been here, he has looked a bit of a headless chicken at times, touch and passing way off. Pressure and Adapting could be reason for this, perfectly happy for him to kick on and improve. Great to have extra body back up top too.

I just think the concerns are being raised to early in his career. He has got something, that much was proven at Roma. Just think he needs time to find his feet. But yeah, I will agree he has looked at little headless at times. But I just put that down to being keen to impress but doing it in the wrong way.Originally posted by danperkins View PostTrue, but i'm allowed to be concerned by no means a damning critique of the lad. fair point mate, i think as after Aqua & Dossena & seeing a high % of players coming from Serie A finding it tough to adapt to the premier league... maybe i'm bit skeptical.
I know he done ok with Swansea but step up to the Premier League is a big one. He's very young and has been unlucky with injuries & Rodgers playing him in a wide role, which IMO he doesn't suit.
The thing now is Sturridge seems a shoe in for the central role, does that mean Borini will be stuck out wide?

I thought he played ok for a player that came back after 3 months long injury.
Not match fit but his movement was good and he could have easily scored on 2 different occasions.
Needs more game time and I am very intrigued what type of partnership he'll strike with Luis and Sturridge.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
