He did absolutely nothing in that game........other than score the penalty that knocked Chelsea out of the title race

Surely that's the primary role of a striker?

He was practically playing left back I wonder Fab has done to Pab to make him so angry

He wasn't though was he. He played out wide again. Granted he did a lot of tracking back though.

Mostly I just like winding you all up , but lets be honest, he's **** isn't he?

No skill, no pace, no end product. Plus he buys his sister lingerie. I think that's all for now

He's done well has Borini.....defo can do a job at liverpool, only thing is he will have to be content as a squad player, but what happens if Sunderland offer £12-15million for him and of course first team football ?

Scored 9 goals in 39 games for Sunderland. Always seems to raise his game for the important ones.

Still have reservations, but I guess he will be a better backup than Aspas on current form.

i know it's not prolific but as a bit part player he can have an impact at Liverpool, but obviously not as a main stay striker.

                          Miles better than Aspas

I would take him back but the issue might be how much time he is prepared to stay on the bench.

He will get game time when we are involved in 4 competitions although will have to accept that in the big games when everyone is fit he will be out of the team.

Yep, he will be involved in Cups almost certainly. He will get game time for sure.

He is playing all the games and is having some good ones because he is getting the game time so is match sharp. Here he will not get that much game time and will struggle again to make an impact IMO. I would sell him TBH because we can get a decent fee for him, but if BR feels he can make good use of him, well then of course I will back him all the way.

yeah agree he's 1000 times better option than aspas.

my concern with borini is he seems the time of player who needs to play regularly to get any sort of form.

Clearly here, he will be a squad player. He will get games, but it will be sporadic spread across the season and my worry is he doesn't seem to be able to turn up for one game, play well, then miss 3 or 4 and then play well again.

Some players can do that but i'm not sure he can.

for me though - i'd like to see us get konoplonko and lallana - both add goals/give us extra options for the attacking mid/wide areas - with those two plus coutinho/sterling and possibly ibe - we'd be covered

strikers - we'd then have suarez, sturridge and borini - if borini can keep improving/working hard and is prepared to be a squad player then i think we'd enough options for the season out of those 7/8.
