Yeah,safe as houses. I don't see him as particularly prolific but more of a scorer of the odd vital goal when all else has failed. Brendan obviously thinks he's a good fit for us. More than happy to take him back after the way he's knuckled down this season. Definitely seems to have the right attitude,work rate etc.

So in short, he would be decent backup. Let Suarez/Sturridge start all CL and PL games and Borini in the cups, with the bonus of getting him on as a sub in games. Not sure he's got what it takes to change games mind.Are we winning?Comment

Yeah, I've mellowed on him now so I roughly agree. Our squad is woefully small so I think there's more than room for him in the squad. He came good for them when they needed him most. He stepped up. Have to take into account he rarely played up top as a striker for Sunderland. He only ever played out wide when I watched him.
If we didn't own him, would anyone want to sign him? Can't say I would tbh. But he's a good lad & a hard worker. We need a Solskjaer type player, does he fit the bill?Forwards.......Comment

I don't think he's good enough, seems like a decent lad. We need a quality back-up striker who would be happy to be a bench warmer. It seems like Borini needs regular games, he's not a prolific goalscorer and wouldn't be much use to us as back-up.Comment
