Walcotts finishing is actually quite underrated, he has quite quick feet too. I'd say the difference isn't huge, but Walcott just edges it.

Really? Why? The blokes that score the goals are generally the better paid players at clubs. Walcott's showing great promise and is delivering on a consistent basis.

tbh I can see why they've given him that sort of money, from a PR stance they've had "star" after "star" walk out and leave them and whilst he seems to be a bit marmite to their supporters if they'd let him walk away in the summer for nothing it would have been yet another thing the supporters would have bitched about.

Three-and-a-half years seems pretty short IMO. They're going to have the same issue with Walcott again in 18 months time when he'll be what - 25?! Makes no sense.
