he's done well but lets not go overboard this early. enrique looked good at first.

he's a vital cog but he isn't a game winner so will always go unnoticed by opposition fans. nature of the beast. My slight fear is he does a similar job to lucas but in a more progressive manner. thus possibly leaving lucas in limbo. time will tell.

Joe has been brilliant, only 3 misplaced passes yesterday.. thats ridiculously good for anyone in a match especially a CM. I can't help but think that 15mil is a bargain for the lad now.

I haven't seen a player in PL for some time who is so calm and composed when pressured as Allen.

He doesn't buckle, he doesn't get scared and hoofs the ball, just calmly find the open player without any dwelling on the ball.

He has all elements to be to be one of our best signings in years.

given that 12 months ago no one had of heard him I very much doubt he would of bought him. allen has benefitted with that season in the top flight playing in a relatively successful team. had swansea bombed last year I doubt any of us would be where we are.

plus last year our problem was putting the ball in the net. we dominated plenty of teams.

interesting how people will view allen if in 4 years we've won **** all and aren't competing at the top end. the questions regarding goals, assists and what he contributes will raise their ugly heads. scape goats will be needed.
