For me, Henderson has proved his value to the first team and needs to start every game. He's the glue which helps both Lucas and Gerrard play better.

He might not be too flashy but given his work rate, his ability to spot a pass and an increasingly useful eye for goal, he's vital. IMO.

he has to be much more consistent before he gets there. He's on a bit of a purple patch at the moment, but he's not always this good. Although he definitely has the potential to be, that's for sure.

He's OK but he goes missing far too much to be classed as anything near world class IMO. Then his defending and tracking back is not very good, while he might have improved a bit at that since AVB came in.
