    Standard of opposition though....

Fwiw I like Assaisi, he seems to have both a good mentality and not inconsiderable skill and should be a decent squad option for us for some time. For what he cost you really can't have many complaints. However I'm not at all sure we'll ever see him really carry games consistently in this league. I'd love him to prove me wrong though.

Oussama is not that bad, i think he needs more time to "get in" the group, i feel like some players don't like to give him the ball alot (suarez,johnson...) because he is not integrated to the group yet maybe, it's about how he is, he is nice guy but too calm and shy, so it need time for him to be a part of "the team", he have to work on his character to get in the "band", it's all about him and how much he want be part of the liverpool history ,he is amazing player and very intelligent but he need fans support and Coach BR to bring out the genie from the bottle ,because he is really genius, amazing with the ball when he is "free" and full of confidence like when he is with Moroccan National team.

he is new in EPL level, it's up to him first to improve and show his skills at so high level, and win his mates and ,coach trust first then supporters one, talent is not enough in the great Liverpool.

i'm moroccan liverpool fan from 80ies, i don't know Ouss personaly but i know little how he is, i smile each time he get the ball, expecting some fun but last match he was really boring .

anyway goooo ahead Ouuuusssss, next will be better, you can be a legend,work,work,work...

lets be with the team and the players no matter the situation, future is ours,
      Goooooo Liverpooooool

          Welcome to the site BadReD

I think most people have really warmed to Assaidi since he arrived, he looks to have a lot of skill and a real positive attitude on the pitch, and you're right, he does need to be given time to get used to his team mates and the style of football in this country.

I think 98% of us would much rather see him play than £20m Downing, that's for sure

That 2% should be rounded up and verbally abused before being sectioned

That's just a bit tame for me. More extreme.

I was thinking that Downing must have a massive family.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Imo he is a very good buy given the financial outlay but needs more games to gel with the other big boys.

The problem is that he is competing for the spot with Sterling as both of them are best on the left and on that basis he'll always be option B.

That said, given what he has shown he can play and is good addition to our squad.

at herveenen he was mostly the left winger, but him and the other lad often swapped sides. he scored plenty while at that team.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
