key point. no point running at players if you just lose the ball all the time.
ive waited a long time for a wide player who could travel with the ball and beat an opponent. looks an exciting player

The most impressive thing about his performance for me last night was his ball retention. There was no head down runs into blind alleys, he always had his head up and if the run wasn't on, he wasn't afraid of playing it back to Robinson.
He looks to be a very intelligent player.

So far so good.Originally posted by Assassin View PostAssaidi looks an absolute bargain. I just love the way he dances past players on the by-line. An out and out goal poacher would have scored at least a hatrick form the crosses Assaidi put into the box
Interesting stat by Opta that he past more players in 2 games than Downing entire season last year.
It is truly depressing to see them both play in the same team as Assaidi looks more like 20m player and Downing as 3m.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

We'll see how he plays against better defenders before getting too excited.Originally posted by Mostar View PostSo far so good.

i was dribbling some sex wee when i saw him doing for us what we have seen him do on the youtube compilations we looked at once we had signed him.
there is always a risk that someone might not actually do the biz, but this lad looks like he will be a star.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

They mentioned this on Sky Sports the other day in reference to Sterling. They had to go back to Macca and John BarnesOriginally posted by Mostar View PostHe is.
I cannot recall when we had a winger that keeps attacking the defenders time and time again.
Assaidi and Sterling in the same team looks very promising indeedWe managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I can't remember where I read this, it was either in an interview Assaidi did or one of the medical staff. But basically he/they said that Assaidi's heart rate drops back to normal after a sprint or whatever at a stupidly quick rate. i.e. he is is naturally very, very fit. It probably explains why he managed to keep on running with the same pace and intensity for the full 90 minutes. I can think of a certain player who was famous for being able to do this - our last great winger: Steve McManaman. McManaman always said he could quite easily have played on for another 90 minutes after a game had finished.
Anyway, Assaidi in his first interview said that he was quick off the mark and was kind of implying he is not that quick overall. I think he was being modest because he looked very quick full stop.My kebab comes with chilli sauce
