    Premier League opening fixtures

    Michu

Slightly strange team from Spurs - Vertonghen and VdV left out. Should be a good game v Newcastle now.

Delighted for Swansea. Watch it now, my two favourite Premier League managers will go out and win big today (Laudrup and Villas Boas), whilst we're stuck with some voodoo curse.

        Arsenal 0-0 Sunderland
        Fulham 5-0 Norwich
        QPR 0-5 Swansea
        Reading 1-1 Stoke
        West Bromwich Albion 3-0 Liverpool
West Ham United 1-0 Aston Villa

Defoe with a five yard header going wide, deflected in to Krul's legs and then the rebound falls to Defoe again who finds the inch to get it in off the post. I'd love that kind of luck in front of goal right now.

Don't worry son, keep your head down, keep working hard and it'll all come good. We're relying on you.

Appreciate the pep talk, alas, my best years are behind me now;I used to be able to drink all Saturday night, kick off on Sunday morning, throw up around the corner flag and celebrate a hat-trick in the pub in the afternoon.

Now I get a hangover and struggle to get up for work after four bottles.
